Attract
Create relevant attention around a clear commercial promise.
Growth framework
Attract → Build trust → Convert → Follow up → Improve. Growth breaks when one stage is optimised while the next stage is ignored.
Canonical AtlasFlow framework
Attract → Build trust → Convert → Follow up → Improve. Growth breaks when one stage is optimised while the next stage is ignored.
Create relevant attention around a clear commercial promise.
Reduce uncertainty with proof, clarity, useful information and credible experience.
Give the right buyer an obvious, low-friction next action.
Make ownership, qualification and next action visible after the enquiry.
Use evidence from the whole journey to decide what deserves attention next.
Use it when
It is a diagnostic model, not a promise that every business needs work in all five stages.
Apply this to a commercial problem →Definitive guide
The Growth Loop is deliberately not a marketing funnel owned by one department. It follows commercial value from relevant attention through buyer confidence, action, follow-up and learning. A stage can look healthy in isolation while damaging the stage immediately after it.
Create attention from people whose problem, intent and commercial context fit the offer the business can actually serve.
Are we increasing useful attention or merely increasing activity?
Help the right buyer understand the offer and reduce the specific uncertainty that would otherwise stop progress.
What does this buyer still need to believe, verify or understand before acting?
Offer a next commitment proportionate to readiness and collect only the context needed to make the next decision useful.
Is the next action obvious, sensible and appropriate for this level of intent?
Preserve qualification, source, owner, state and next action after the buyer raises a hand.
Can the business see who owns the opportunity and what must happen next?
Connect outcomes and friction back to the decisions that created them so the next cycle starts with evidence rather than habit.
What did this journey teach us that should change the next growth decision?
Operating loop
Growth work should begin with one journey and one outcome, then improve the stage or handoff that materially constrains the whole loop.
Define one valuable buyer and commercial outcome
Map the current Attract → Trust → Convert → Follow up → Improve journey
Baseline the evidence currently available at each stage
Locate the material stage or handoff constraint
Choose the smallest intervention capable of changing that constraint
Preserve downstream ownership and measurement before increasing volume
Use the result to continue, stop, narrow or expand the next growth cycle
Failure patterns
The framework is most useful when teams are proud of individual channel metrics but cannot explain commercial movement across the complete journey.
Acquisition grows while the website still leaves relevant buyers uncertain about fit, capability or risk.
Forms are shortened or CTAs made more aggressive until more people submit but fewer become useful opportunities.
Source and promise are forgotten once the enquiry reaches sales, so follow-up cannot learn which demand created value.
Teams become more consistent at contacting people the business never agreed were worth pursuing.
Won and lost outcomes exist, but the system cannot explain whether the failure came from fit, timing, price, trust or execution.
Campaigns and projects produce work but not reusable proof, process, research or decision evidence for the next cycle.
Worked scenario
Imagine paid and organic traffic are healthy but repeat complaints and weak product decisions persist.
Search and campaign traffic is commercially relevant.
Product proof, policy consistency and reviews are fragmented across the store.
Customers still reach checkout, so top-line conversion does not reveal every confidence problem.
Support and returns questions expose the same uncertainty after purchase.
Those questions are not fed back into merchandising or product content.
The next growth move may be product-truth and learning infrastructure, not another acquisition campaign.
The Growth Loop is a diagnostic operating model. It does not imply that every stage needs intervention or that improving one stage guarantees revenue growth.
